This is the Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim version of this series of books. A similar, but not identical, series exists in Daggerfall; see Brief History of the Empire for that version.
Both versions of the book contain a mistake in Volume IV, as confirmed by the developers [١]: Pelagius IV only ruled for 29 years (he died in 3E368, not 3E388).
